Upcoming First Friday Art Walk Exhibits

The First Friday Art Walk is our 'Opening Reception' for each new monthly exhibit at NexLynx Gallery of Arts. The First Friday Art Walk, a program of Topeka ArtsConnect, exhibits local artists’ work at various art galleries, restaurants, corporate offices, and retail stores.

A regular stop in the heart of downtown Topeka since 2010, NexLynx Gallery of Arts is the “must see” gallery on the First Friday Art Walk, located on the corner of 6th & Jackson. Celebrating our 75th consecutive First Friday Art Walk in 2017, we are dedicated to showcase emerging and established artists in our respected gallery every First Friday Art Walk.

    A fascination with computer graphics and animation propelled Pradeep to delve into the realm of 3D computer modeling, which evolved into a unique artistic technique he coined “Lasered Layers.” This entails the painstaking assembly of intricately laser-cut sheets of paper, each layer meticulously crafted to create a captivating 3D relief effect.
