First Friday Art Walk – July 2019

Discover Art Downtown with our Artist Reception at NexLynx Gallery of Arts, Friday July 5th from 5pm to 8pm. View the beautiful Topeka landmarks by local photographer, Jared Hitchens during the First Friday Art Walk.

Local photographer, Jared Hitchens has a passion for Topeka that comes from a life spent in the community. He has worked in graphic arts for over 20 years, but with his lens and artistic eye, Jared has captured some of Topeka’s most beautiful landmarks.

Originally introduced to the camera to simply accentuate the promotional material that he produced for the Greater Topeka Partnership, Jared quickly dove into the art and attempted to learn all that he could about the craft. Jared will be featuring his portfolio, showing his new love of photography as well as his pride for the city that he grew up in.
