First Friday Art Walk – September 2021

As a child, Angela always had a passion for making things – whether it was drawing, painting, collaging, bracelets, dancing or putting on shows. Always knowing that she wanted to BE an artist, if it was in “the arts” she wanted to do it. Growing up she took all the art classes she could, always feeling most comfortable in the studio.

Angela still finds herself interested in all things art, not limiting herself to one medium, style or concept. Her inspirations and ideas changing as new experiences happen, which open new worlds of curiosity and experimentation. Finding inspiration everywhere around her, Angela’s work explores stories and legends and the wheel of the seasons and symbols.

She primarily works in mixed media and acrylic paint, but has explored other mediums such as fine art gourds, mixed media 3D art, jewelry, and anything that she finds herself curious about. Angela is driven to create all the things that she is passionate, expressing her thoughts and emotions not through words, but through art.
