First Friday Art Walk – October 2017

Discover Art Downtown at NexLynx Gallery of Arts, Friday October 6th from 5pm to 8pm, to view the layered paintings of Beth Neuer, during our First Friday Art Walk.

Beth Neuer works in watercolor and oil, each having different responses, but prefers watercolor because of its intimacy and immediacy. It is her insight that gives her direction as to color and balance. Layering color gives Beth a variety that is interactive and beautiful, making it her own.

As an artist, Beth has searched for what Spirituality means in relationship to herself and to her work. She continues to bring the inner and the outer together in some kind of harmony. Beth loves color, shapes, space, light and dark, putting them together to create a painting that spurs her on to whatever will be next.

You will find Beth’s paintings invite the viewer into the space leading them to think about their own life experiences. This show relates to life’s layers and what makes up those layers to become what they may be.
