    Relax from the holidays, dress in comfortable pajamas to win a prize while enjoying the watercolor paintings by retired pastor, Deb Hanes-Nelson. Deb focuses on small town and rural life activities from living in the Great Plains States. Her paintings and scriptural titles are meant to bring a bit of joy, hope, and positive energy to life. As always, we will have snacks, soda, beer and wine.

    Dip into chocolate with our infamous chocolate fountain with various “dippers” and other tasty treats while enjoying the cutout paintings by Doug Frye. Doug envisions hard edged reality through his paintings on raw surfaces by using the underlying surface color, creating the tone and mood of the painting. As always, we will have snacks, soda, and a selection of chocolate inspired beers and wines.

    Get into the Irish Spirit while enjoying the Laser artwork by Pradeep Bangalore. Pradeep creatively constructs fine art utilizing a blend of cutting edge Laser and computer graphics. He calls this process “Lasered Layers”. The 3-D artwork consists of painstakingly assembled multiple layers of intricately laser-cut sheets of paper. Wear green & receive a St. Patty’s Day prize! We will feature Irish themed/greenish snacks, soda, beer and wine.

    Come see the world through the lens of Charles Benton, a native Kansan who loves to travel. He discovered photography would be his artistic outlet, taking more than just vacation pictures. The photos on exhibit display some aspect of nature as their subject. Wear blue & help spread awareness for Autism. We will display a piece of art by an autistic student, which will be raffled to raise money for Topeka Area Autism Network. Snacks, soda, beer & wine provided.

    Lois VanLiew presents Earth’s Emissaries: Work inspired by Geodes, Gemstones, & Crystals. At a young age, Lois was fascinated with geodes, gemstones and crystals and was encouraged to paint using them as inspiration. Lois finds the beauty that emerges from these stones to be a compelling exploration. Join in the Fiesta as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo with our homemade salsa paired with other Mexican themed snacks and delicious drinks. Snacks, soda, beer and wine provided.

Then enjoy the vibrant, abstract paintings of Janet Bailey in her exhibit, Earth, Sky and Beyond. Janet feels that even though she does abstract work, you don’t just throw the paint on. Stepping outside the common practices used in making art, Charles put his fondness for printmaking and rusted sculptures together. The results are fantastic! Using oxidation, he produces some very contemplative images that contrast organic with geometric. Snacks, soda, beer and wine provided.
