First Friday Art Walk – July 2022

Jeremy Wangler is a lifelong Midwesterner and photographer who lives in Topeka. Like so many of us, the COVID-19 pandemic brought many changes. Jeremy used that time to focus on his art and turn photography from a hobby to a chance to use the artform as a means to tell a story, raise awareness and show the beauty of our world.

Jeremy moved to Topeka in 2005 after growing up in Omaha, Nebraska. He loves his medium-sized city and how close he can feel to the pulse of the community or how remote and secluded he can feel just minutes from his home. Jeremy enjoys being behind the scenes, telling stories of people doing great things.

In 2020, Jeremy enrolled at Washburn University to seek a bachelor of fine art in photography to hone his photographic skills and broaden his overall artistic skills and appreciations.
